Planning your Reception

To make your wedding day a complete success, planning of every last detail is paramount. Thea and her team can manage the full catering of your day including the booking of marquee or venue and organising all of the associated items such as lighting, table furniture, floral displays, waiting staff, wine waiters and the food of course. It is important to book early, especially for weddings during the summer months when we are very busy. Marquees can be difficult to obtain if not booked well in advance. Depending on your choice of meal we may well require a catering tent as well as the main marquee, especially for hot meals. For marquees a site inspection will need to be done in advance to be sure of the siting, access and size of the marquee. Before contacting us please consider the timing of your day and whether you require just one meal or perhaps an afternoon meal and then a buffet later if the reception is to last through the evening as well. Also many weddings have a smaller number of guests at the reception directly after the ceremony and then a larger number at an evening party. We would need an idea of the numbers at both please. There are a myriad of other details to consider but out the outset this will give us an idea of the scale of your reception and the numbers of staff we would need on the day.
